DREAMERS is a three-piece alternative pop-rock group residing in Los Angeles. In 2016, after two extended plays, the band released their first full-length, titled This Album Does Not Exist. They showed off a great sound, incorporating fuzzy synths with pulsing rock and pop hooks — kind of like Red Hot Chili Peppers turned synth pop. The band has returned this summer with four new songs on an EP by the name of Launch, the first in a trilogy of releases.
The band puts together fuzzy pop rock tracks that don’t stray from the verse-chorus-repeat formula. They’re easy to have fun with but harder to make a deep connection with. Regardless, this is not a band to ignore if you’re looking for some pick-me-up songs. 3.5/5
